About Dr. Alistair Lavery

Buderim, Chiropractic, Sunshine Coast, Health, Sore, Back Pain, Sore joints, migraines, patients, natural, pain relief
Alistair is a family man who lives with his wife and three children in Buderim.

Alistair is also a local boy who grew up schooling through the Maroochydore State School system from kindergarten to High school.

Alistair first visited a chiropractor as a child. His father had heard that they could help. There is now moderate-high level of scientific evidence supporting chiropractic for migraine and musculoskeletal – tension headaches (1).

His experience resulted in his grade 10 work experience with Dr Jack Schlink (chiropractor) in Maroochydore. After being told by his Guidance officer at school that there was nowhere in QLD to study chiropractic, Alistair enrolled in a Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland to specialise in sports science a major interest of Alistair’s at the time.

During first term while talking to a friend (Dr Catriona McNamara (chiropractor)) who was studying Chiropractic in conjunction with her Bachelor of Science – Alistair went home that day and contacted Macquarie University to undertake his Chiropractic Masters. Catriona and Alistair are still friends today.

Alistair lives and breathes Chiropractic because of his own life experience. Alistair gets a real kick out of helping others.
